Charlie Elliott Visitor Center

The 6400-acre Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center (CEWC) is the very welcome, State of Georgia operated, new kid on the block by Jasper County standards. The Oconee National Forest has been around for approaching 100 years, but Charlie Elliott was established only about 25 years ago, when the State bought Clybel Farm and Marben Farm, creating the center. We’ll talk more about CEWC elsewhere on this site, but want to introduce you to the visitors center here.
