This weekend I learned more about the status of the trails inside the 1099 loop, which have historically been coded blue, although I did find some yellow paint. The good news is that some of the trails I found and worked on today are in decent shape and have not been terribly impacted by the recent timbering to remove beetle-infested pine areas. But there are some spots that look pretty rough. Here’s where I went today, and later mountain-biked to check it out again:
