I’ve put in a good bit of time this week to connect the trails I cleared last week (Beck Bluff loop) to other trails northeast of there, eventually to Tributary 6 Trail. The two main trails I’ve opened and cleared this week are Beck Bottom Trail, which leaves a small open field on Beck Bluff Loop, descends the steep hill to the to Beck Creek, then makes its way northeastward to the pine beetle cutover area and to FS Rd 1099. Just before Beck Bottom Trail arrives at 1099, you can turn right onto a trail I’ve named Pine Beetle Path. It loops southward, then back east and north, crossing 1099 and eventually reaching Tributary 6 Trail near the creek. These should make the loops and connectivity much better in the 1099 area, as you can see in the map below.
